Am 20. November 2014 findet in Wiener Filmcasino der Wettbewerb
"ASIFA AUSTRIA AWARD / BEST AUSTRIAN ANIMATION"
im Rahmen des 10. One Day Animation Festival statt.
Das Festival begreift sich als Präsentationsplattform für zeitgenössischen österreichischen Animationsfilm.
Im Rahmen des Festivals findet vor dem Wettbewerbsprogrammen, das
2. Symposium - Animation in Österreich
mit dem diesjährigen Schwerpunkt : Produktionsbedingungen statt.

On November the 20th the competition for
"ASIFA AUSTRIA AWARD / BEST AUSTRIAN ANIMATION"
will take place in course of the 10th One Day Animation Festival at Filmcasino Austria.
The festival regards itself as a forum for contemporary animated film within Austria, where a broad spectrum of animated films are shown.
Accompanying the festival program the
2nd Symposium - Animation in Austria
with this years topic “Conditions of Production” will be held.

2. SYMPOSIUM - ANIMATION IN ÖSTERREICH

Richtlinien:
Für die Wettbewerbe zugelassen sind Filme aller Animationstechniken, einschliesslich Kombinationen von Real- und Trickfilm, die von oder in Österreich produziert wurden.
Der Einreichung sind beizulegen:
– Einreichungsformular (ausgefüllt)
– Sichtungskopie auf Datenträger, Formate: mov, mp4 im Codec H264, oder DVD (VIDEO_TS)
– 3 Filmstills
– Synopsis (max. 200 Zeichen, Katalogtext)
Unvollständige oder zu spät eingelangte Einreichungen können leider nicht berücksichtigt werden.
Der Festivalveranstalter übernimmt keine Transport- oder sonstigen Kosten, die mit der Einreichung der Produktionen verbunden sind. Eingereichte Unterlagen und Sichtungskopien können nicht zurückgesandt werden.
Mit der Einreichung stimmt die Einreichende den Festivalrichtlinien, sowie der Vorführung des eingereichten Films, dem Abdruck der Filmstills im Programmheft oder Katalog sowie der umfassenden der Presseverwertung zu.
Aus der Einreichung und Teilnahme erwächst keinerlei Rechtsanspruch. Die Entscheidung über das Festival-Programm und die Wettbewerbsteilnahme liegt ausschließlich im Ermessen des Selektions-Komitees und wird im November bekannt gemacht.

Die Jury vergibt:

Preisgeld: 500.- Euro
Lobende Erwähnungen in den Kategorien: Analoge & Hybride Techniken, Digitale Techniken, Narrative Animation, Experimentelle Animation, Musikvideo, Musik und Sound

Regulations:
All animations that have been produced in Austria or by an austrian filmmaker can be submitted for the competition. Accepted are all different techniques and categories of animation including combinations of real and animated film.
Submissions should include:
– complete filled in application form
– Preview Copy on data medium, Format: mov, mp4 with Codec H264, or DVD (VIDEO_TS)
– 3 film-stills
– Synopsis (max. 200 signs, text for catalog)
Incomplete or late applications cannot be considered.
The Festival can not be held liable for transport or other costs. Submitted application material will not be returned. By submitting the filmmaker accepts the festivals regulations and agrees to the screening of his submitted film in course of the One Day Animation Festival.
No claims can be held by submitting work to the festival. The decision on the festival and competition program solemnly lies within the selection committee. Decision will be announced in November.
